whoops...

I forgot I had a blog.

Updates: Broken toe, cut the grass, work is good, car is fixed, mum isn't doing so well, I've had enough sleep but I feel more tired then ever, I went out on Saturday night and had fun, Gigantour was a disappointment - had more fun in the entry outside.

What a shit week! Literally

I get a stomach bug that sends me to the porcelain thrown all week. I'm blogging from there as we speak... no just kidding. ;)

My mother ends up hospitalised because her cancer has got out of hand again, and we have just discovered that she has another form of cancer in her lower back that cannot be cured but luckily, is easily manageable. :\ Not great news, but good news I guess.

To top it all off, she called me yesterday saying that she's been discharged from hospital and will wait for me to pick her up at 5:30 in the afternoon.

Two weekends in a row!

This was the weekend after my birthday (long) weekend. I went down to Wollongong with Sash. We hung out with Ben.

Ben had this idea to go to the Oktoberfest celebrations. At first I wasn't keen, but then we got there, and I was right into it.

Massive!

Geez, I haven't posted anything in a while.

Since Friday I've been flat chat all long weekend. Friday was my birthday, so I left work just a little early. When I got home, I quickly set up my backyard to resemble a party scene.

Another POETS day

Friday. Work is nearly over. I have nothing planned for tonight. Probably hire a DVD and have an early one.

Tomorrow is a busy day. I've gotta cut the lawn, clean up around the house. Then have a play with GTR2 that I recently got.

Then I wait till the evening and head off to a mates place for a BBQ.

Taking the guitar. Should be a great jam in front of the BBQ.

Sunday I will be heading into Ultimo and jamming with Scot. Should be great fun too.

Finishing up work soon.

Going to the astronomy club tonight. But on my way, I have to drop off a mates DVD I authored for him. He was having some issues with some movies he wanted to send back to his folks in the UK. For some silly reason he was able to create a DVD project, but was unable to burn it. So he came over last night, and we got cracking.

I finally bought myself an upgraded PC. Well... I bought the parts.

I assembled it on Thursday night. Turned it on. And nothing happened. Windows Did not want to install.

So I swaped components with ones I had laying around. I tried various different methods of install Windows. I got so frustrated, I thought "it's time to bring out the big guns".

Smacked some golf balls around last night.

Have to say, thought it was fun. Was thinking... get my brothers clubs, clean em' up and have a bash.

Enjoyed myself more then I expected.

My aim is terrible, but I'll blame the wind on that :p Lack of skill has nothing to do with it.

It's POETS day. Piss Off Early Tomorrows Saturday.

And on that... We're going down to see Ben in the Gong! He's just bought a new place. So, it's time to freak out!

It's Learn-ed

Been playing with MySQL over the past few days. Finally starting to build a happy relationship with the technology. :)

Going to the driving range this afternoon with Beagle. Smack the crap out of some golf balls... though I've warned everyone about my aim... or lack there of.
