I have been playing guitar for about 17 years now, and I've noticed something really humorous. When people see my new guitar, which is a classical guitar. They almost laugh and think it's a toy.
I find it really funny that people's mentality over a guitar with nylon strings seems to be that if it's not a steel string guitar, it's a toy that kids use to learn on.
Why is that?

I dont know, I like the sound and how the nylon strings feel. all string used to be gutt. and even today a gut string instrument is going for higher price than anythig with metal strings.
Tell me about it... my mate has an old double bass sitting in storage that has original gut strings on it. The bass is in poor condition, but I'd love to have a look at it and get it sorted out.
